reACT Trainer for Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation

Accelerate rehabilitation and recovery with reACT’s eccentric loading conditioning approach.

Proven results for Physical Therapists

  • Injury Prevention – reACT focuses on eccentric strength and endurance to help prevent injuries which result from the inability to properly absorb forces and the inappropriate loading of joints and connective tissue.
  • Strength Building – Research has proven that eccentric training produces more rapid increases in muscle size, strength, and power than other methods. What’s more, eccentric conditioning is the most effective way to increase concentric strength, negating earlier conclusions in the sports training field.
  • CL Recovery – Eccentric training enhances recovery from ACL surgery recovery by accelerating increases in strength, stability, muscle mass, and hopping ability compared to traditional training.
  • Tendonitis – Eccentric loading addresses tendonitis by promoting hypertrophy of the connective tissue and increasing the tendon’s ability to store energy and resist damage. The direct connection of hypertrophy to connective tissue remodeling explains why eccentric exercise is useful in treating tendon injury.
  • Core and Balance – reACT increases dynamic balance and core activation without loading the spine – important for ADL’s such as walking down stairs as well as enhancing sports performance.
  • Progressive Exercises – reACT accommodates a wide range of fitness abilities, and can greatly benefit seniors. In addition to general progressive conditioning, reACT can be regressed for injuries and is an excellent addition to any rehabilitation regimen.
  • Cardio Patients – reACT delivers muscle-building workouts at a lower level of cardio load. With reACT, there is less stress on the heart muscle compared to other forms of training.
